EIS Investment Strategy
We have developed an Investment Strategy, aiming to deliver attractive risk-weighted returns to investors in the renewable energy and efficient sectors in the UK that are eligible for EIS tax reliefs. Investments will exhibit characteristics of stable and predictable cash flows, low technology risk, blue chip counterparties, limited competition and low correlation with other asset classes. Moreover, as a specialist energy investor, we look primarily to invest and not to offer structured products.
The Investment Strategy, outlined below, aims to make the most of the investment opportunity presented:
- Technology: Low technology risk
- Partners: High quality counterparts
- Size: £500,000 to £2,000,000
- Debt: Low leverage
- EIS: Advance assurance sought from HMRC
- Exit: Primarily to strategic and financial buyers
