China & Hong Kong Fund
The Guinness China & Hong Kong Fund seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation through investment in listed equities of companies with a market capitalization typically in excess of US$200 million, that are either primarily traded on the China and/or Hong Kong markets or that derive at least 50% of their revenues from business activities in China and/or Hong Kong, but which may be listed and traded elsewhere.
The Fund is run by lead manager Edmund Harriss, who has 16 years' experience managing Asian equities in both London and Hong Kong, alongside co-manager James Weir. The Fund follows the same strategy as the successful US-domiciled version which Edmund Harriss has managed since 1998.
